Yes, art enhances your living space, but remember that art can do so much more! Art stimulates your own creativity, expands your perspective, says something about your interests and values, interprets history, and captures the zeitgeist of our time. It may seem obvious, but collecting art also supports people. Whether you purchase art from an artist, gallery, non-profit, print publisher, or even an online shop, you are directly contributing support to individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.

If you have never purchased art before, are overwhelmed by all the options out there, or are looking for an expert opinion, you’ll benefit from working with an art consultant.
Working with an art consultant saves you time and energy. It’s my job to see as much art as possible, from the 100+ sources online (yes, I counted), galleries and museums around the world, and annual art fairs. Think of me as your personal shopper - I do all the research for you and curate a selection of the best art based on your interests and taste.
An art consultant provides you with access and expertise. I have spent over ten years working and cultivating relationships in the art world. I have a methodology for how to identify emerging artists on the cutting edge, stylistic trends, and investment opportunities, and I want to share this knowledge with you! I also share my recommendations on how to frame, hang, and care for your art.
An added benefit of working with an art consultant is trade perks. As an art consultant, I represent you, and negotiate on your behalf. Where available, I also pass on my trade discounts for artworks and framing.
What can I expect from the video session?
During the session we will take a look at your home and review your responses to the collecting survey. I will share art collecting tips as they relate to your project and present a group of art sources and works that fit your taste and interests. I will also advise on how to frame and hang your art. I want you to leave the session with the tools and confidence to buy art you love.
If you have your own agenda for the session, that’s great too. You can use this time however you like.
Can you help me buy art for my entire home?
Yes! If you are looking to place art in your entire home, or if your budget exceeds $2,000, I offer personalized advisory services under a different structure. Contact me with more details about your project and I’ll get back to you with my rates.
